Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)

Model: STA PT 1600/Linseis instrument

Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) is a technique used to measure the weight change of a material as it is heated or cooled in a controlled atmosphere, typically under nitrogen or air flow. TGA provides valuable information on the thermal stability, composition, and decomposition behavior of materials. During the process, the sample undergoes a precise temperature program, and mass loss is monitored as a function of temperature or time. TGA is widely used to study the thermal stability of catalysts, energy storage materials, battery development, polymers, and biomaterials.
